The National Certificate (N4 – N6): Hospitality & Catering Services

The aim of this programme will be to prepare and equip students with the latest subject matter, which is directed at the hospitality industry, in order to send out into the workplace mature students who, with sound knowledge and skills, will provide excellent service.

Three Year programme consisting of N4, N5, N6 Certificates, culminating in a National Diploma on successful completion of national examinations and work-integrated learning.

  • Year 1: N4 certificate = 6 months on campus (theory and practical) + 6 months’ work-place learning (monitored practical experience);
  • Year 2: N5 certificate = 6 months on campus (theory and practical) + 6 months’ work-place learning (monitored practical experience);
  • Year 3: N6 certificate = 6 months on campus (theory and practical) + 6 months’ work-place learning (monitored practical experience).
