AT GUVON ACADEMY

NATIONAL N-DIPLOMA IN TOURISM (N4-N6)

Focusing on the travel sector, this programme provides students with the knowledge and practical skills, to be able to enter the tourism industry with confidence, poise and excellent inter-personal skills.

Duration of the programme: 3 years full time study.

The programme consists of the following:
Year 1: N4 Certificate – 6 months on campus (theory and practical) + 6 months workplace learning (monitored practical experience);
Year 2: N5 Certificate – 6 months on campus (theory and practical) + 6 months workplace learning (monitored practical experience);
Year 3: N6 Certificate – 6 months on campus (theory and practical) + 6 months workplace learning (monitored practical experience).

Entrance requirements: National Senior Certificate (NSC) or National Senior (NSV) Certificate Vocational or equivalent.

On successful completion of national examinations and work-integrated learning, students will receive the National N-Diploma in Tourism.

INTERNATIONAL ACCREDITATION

As an additional option students may elect to simultaneously enroll for the international awards in Hospitality and Tourism, offered by the Confederation of Tourism and Hospitality (CTH) in the United Kingdom.
