Guvon Academy made a pledge of giving with Santa’s Shoebox Project

With the festive season just around the corner, and everyone in the spirit of goodwill and giving, Guvon Academy could not miss an opportunity to give back in the best way possible. We are proud supporters of the Santa Shoebox Project

It’s been a festive week at Guvon Academy as lecturers & learners alike we have been packing, wrapping, and adorning gift boxes for some of the underprivileged children in our society, proving that the Christmas joy of giving doesn’t only happen one day of the year.

What is the Santa Shoebox you may ask?

Well, you make a pledge to support a child in need by providing a shoebox filled with items which are necessary in day to day living such as:

  • Toothpaste
  • Tooth brush
  • Bar of soap
  • Wash cloth
  • An outfit of clothing
  • Educational supplies
  • Sweets
  • A toy

On behalf of Guvon Academy & Guvon Hotels & Spas, we’d like to thank the Santa Shoebox Project for this amazing initiative that brings smiles to not only thousands of underprivileged children, but to the thousands of people who experience the true joy of giving!

Have you ever pledged a shoebox?
