Chef Lecturer
The Lecturer is responsible for the planning and delivery of teaching and learning activities of students in accordance with the institution’s strategy. The lecturer assesses student learning and maintains accurate administrative records relating to all teaching and learning interventions.

Appropriate chef Qualification at NQF Level 6 or higher.
Post-graduate qualification in education an advantage.
Registered assessor.
Registered moderator an advantage.
Relevant industry experience as chef. At least two years experience in an education and training environment

Theory and practical lecture planning, preparation and research
Deliver contact teaching sessions for knowledge and practical modules
Deliver industry training and workshops
Facilitate distance/ e-learning interventions
Develop and implement assessment strategies
Invigilate examinations
Assist in arranging work experience placements
Develop and implement at-risk interventions to improve student through- put rate and graduation statistics
Maintain accurate records detailing student attendance and academic performance.
Fulfil a positive leadership role, acting as an ambassador for the institution’s brand
Maintain a positive relationship with all internal and external stakeholders
Liaise with students, sponsors and parents on an ongoing basis, where required

Field Guide
Minimum 1 years’ guiding in a Big 5 reserve with FGASA level 1
Must have at least FGASA level 1
Must be DEAT registered
Preferably have a valid C1 drivers license & PDP
Preferably have current First Aid certification
Conduct Guided Walks and Game Drives, responsible for vehicle checks/cleaning, guest liaison and education amongst other daily tasks
Must speak fluent English
Must be honest and reliable

Sales Executive
Responsible for all sales activities, from lead generation through to close within designated market segment
Develops and implements agreed upon Sales Plan to achieve the Groups revenue budget
Works within the sales and support teams for the achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and long-term account goals in line with company vision and values

Responsible for sales from businesses within the designated market segment. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Servicing of Existing clients
Workshops & product training
Contracting of clients
Identifying new clients and securing G&C and transient business
Converting G&C enquiries
Proactively targeting previous G&C bookings and lapsed accounts
Identifying and capitalizing on new trends
Arranging and conducting Hotel / Group site inspections and recording the ROI
Provide the Hotel / Group with timeous, comprehensive feedback on all client / sales activities and updating the database management system accordingly
