al Fiume Restaurant Launches Vegan Dining to Meet Growing Demand
A New Year calls for new beginnings, new adventures and new experiences. Few things are as stimulating as experimenting with some new food ideas especially when they turn out to be delicious. One thing is becoming increasingly clear though as more and more people are conscious about their health and diet lifestyles and are rapidly changing to plant-based and vegan options.
Following this trend al Fiume Restaurant at River Place Lodge, has added a mini Vegan menu that makes it possible for a group of diverse people to get together and enjoy a variety of meal options. The addition of the plant-based options is well-thought-out and has mouth-watering items to excite everyone.
We have a very simple food philosophy at al Fiume and that is to create contemporary seasonal dishes using only fresh and sustainable produce that are mostly locally grown. With the rise of veganism in recent years, we are delighted to be able to launch a menu completely free of animal products. The introduction of the plant-based menu is one of the progressive steps we are taking towards a more sustainable brand and business while giving our customers greater choice,” said General Manager, Ken Davidson.
“Veganism has become a lifestyle for many and our line-up of vegan creations will add panache and excitement to al Fiume” said Leon Bosch Operations Director for Guvon Hotels & Spas.
Patrons will delight with al Fiume’s reasonably well-stocked wine selection offering a couple of vegan wines, both white, and red plus a vegan beer which will be available to accompany the menu.
