Must have formal chef school training and hold a diploma or any other relevant qualification
Must have prior experience in a 3 or 4 star hotel/Lodge with overwhelming catering for the conference and wedding market
Must be familiar with all aspects regarding the kitchen
Must be completely knowledgeable in regards to cost and stock control
Must be completely knowledgeable in regards to menu planning and costing
Must be completely knowledgeable in regards to ordering, receiving and storing of stock as well as invoice control
Must have good leadership skills
Must be able to relieve and manage the kitchen in the absence of the Executive/Head Chef

Maintenance Handyman
Must have at least 5 years’ experience in the building sector (must have own toolbox)
Lodge/ Hotel (Aged between 25 – 35 years)
Must be able to write, communicate and speak in English
Must be able to carry out maintenance and repairs as requested and according to the agreed procedure including: electrical, plumbing, swimming pool repairs, repairs to tiles, roofs, gutters etc.
Maintain equipment and buildings, general preventative maintenance
Fix and replace faulty electrical plugs and switches, inspect and diagnose problems
Must be able to work late shifts and weekends
Carry out all cleaning jobs as requested
Maintain the hotel and its premises according to the agreed procedure
Maintain a high standard of safety at all time complying to our OHS systems
Effectively deal with emergency situations
Maintain a professional and hygienic personal appearance
To deal with guests in a friendly and efficient manner

Head Housekeeper
Must have minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a 3 or 4 star hotel in the same position.
Manage the Housekeeping Department by ensuring cleanliness, cost control, the control of operational equipment and maintain desired standards.
Must be have good communication skills, preferably strong in 2 languages.
Manage the Housekeeping Department efficiently in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Ensure the prescribed company standards are maintained in all areas of responsibility.
Ensure that costs are controlled in all areas of responsibility.
Ensure that total guest satisfaction is maintained in areas under Housekeeping control.
Identify and implement staff training schemes aimed at ensuring that the company’s operating standards are achieved.
Control and coordinate the work of all staff under the direction of the Housekeeper.
Manage and Quality assure the standards and service of the external cleaning contractor.
Ensure that all operational equipment and work utensils are maintained in good working order.
Ensure that bedrooms are serviced timeously in order to maximize room
Responsible for the master keys and security of the rooms and suites.
